The Crystal Teardrop, con su particular mezcla de garage rock, psicodelia y power pop, irrumpió en la escena del rock alternativo en abril de 2023 cuando hicieron su debut en directo en Le Beat Bespoke Festival, Londres. Desde entonces, y en menos de doce meses, la banda ha estado de gira por el centro y norte de Inglaterra tocando en el ACIDFEST de Liverpool y algunos otros, mientras se autoproducían y lanzaban dos singles, «Nine Times Nine» y «By The River», que fueron muy bien recibidos Shindig Magazine y CLASH respectivamente. En diciembre de 2023, la banda se había asegurado una gira por Francia, donde actuaron en el prestigioso Delirium Weekender de Avignon, y terminaron el año por todo lo alto con una aparición en Le Beat Bespoke’s NYE Rock n Roll Circus junto a Wally Waller de The Pretty Things.

Inspirados por una pasión común por la imagen, los sonidos y la experimentación creativa de finales de los sesenta, la música de la banda demuestra un afecto innato por artistas clásicos como The Beatles y The Kinks junto a favoritos West Coast como The Great Society, Love y The Byrds. El grupo ha sido comparado con sus favoritos del Paisley Underground ochentero The Bangles y The Pandoras, debido a su líder y cantante y a su dinámica química sobre el escenario.

The Crystal Teardrop esperan llevar su auténtica y electrizante experiencia en directo a tantos ojos y oídos como sea posible. En el ye-Yé los disfrutaremos por primera vez en España.

The Crystal Teardrop, with its distinctive blend of garage rock, psychedelia and power pop, exploded onto the alternative rock scene in April 2023 when they made their live debut at Le Beat Bespoke Festival, London. Since then, and in less than twelve months, the band have toured central and northern England playing at Liverpool’s ACIDFEST and a few others, whilst self-producing and releasing two singles, ‘Nine Times Nine’ and ‘By The River‘ which were picked up by Shindig Magazine and CLASH respectively. By December 2023 the band had secured a tour in France where they performed at Avignon’s prestigious Delirium Weekender and ended the year on a high with an appearance at Le Beat Bespoke’s NYE Rock n Roll Circus alongside Wally Waller of The Pretty Things. 

Inspired by a mutual passion for the sights, sounds and creative experimentation of the late 1960s, the band’s music demonstrates an innate affection for classic artists such as The Beatles and The Kinks alongside West Coast favourites including The Great Society, Love and The Byrds. The band have been likened to Paisley Underground favourites The Bangles and The Pandoras due to their female fronted line up and dynamic onstage chemistry.
