THE JACK CADES (Uk)

The Jack Cades son unos viejos conocidos en la escena 60´s europea. Sus miembros vienen de bandas como Vicars, Embrooks, Baron Four y Missing Souls, y actualmente son uno de los mejores exponentes del Jangly Garage con ese toque Medway que solo las bandas londineneses son capaces de clavar.

Nacen en el 2017 y en estos 6 años editan en Dirty Water «Music for children», su primer disco. Más tarde llegaría un 7″ que no ha parado de sonar en las pistas de blanco más calientes como es » Run Paulie Run», otro Lp para Bickerton Records “Perfect view” y un 7” con 4 temas “The Jack Cades” editado el pasado 2021. Luego ha llegado su último single con el sello californano Outro Rds y ese nuevo tercer álbum “Something new” que nos presentarán en el Yeyé.

The Jack Cades have been playing together since 2017. The band started when Mike (Thee Vicars, The Baron Four) & Elsa (The Missing Souls) started writing a few songs for a joint project, and recorded them at Mole’s (The Embrooks, The Galileo 5) studio in Kent: North Down Sound, Mole recorded drums for these songs and became an official member of The Jack Cades. These songs feature John Gibbs (The Masonics, Thee Wildebeests) on bass and all were released on their first album «Music For Children» on the label Dirty Water Records. They later asked Alexandra (Speedball Jr.) to join them as an official bassist. In April 2019 they all went to Toe Rag Studios in London and recorded their second album «Perfect View», recorded by Liam Watson. This album was released in 2020 on Beluga records (Sweden) and Bickerton records (Spain). 
The Jack Cades have played in the UK, Germany, Spain & France. They are heavily inspired by 1960s garage bands but also have other, more recent, influences, which you can hear in their unique sound. They have a brand new 7″ single which has been released on LA’s record label Outro Records & their 3rd album «Something New» will be released in Spring/ Summer 2023 on Beluga & Dangerhouse records!
